The eleventh affiliated college of the University turned 50 on 13 July and celebrated by honouring its founding warden, William E. F. Berry, with a dinner attended by Chancellor Elizabeth Alexander AM.

The University has strengthened its ties with India through several new initiatives
announced as part of the Victorian Government's Super Trade Mission.
