Student insight to health and wellbeing sought through new all-student survey

October 17 / 198

The University of Melbourne is developing a Health Promotion Program launching in 2018 to promote and support the health and wellbeing of students.

Students are currently being recruited to help design this program by taking a survey to build understanding of the health behaviours and experiences of all students.

The Health Promotion Program will create learning, working and living environments for students that promote and support a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

Health Promotions Co-ordinator from University Services says although some of the questions are quite personal, anyone completing the survey can be assured all responses will be anonymous, and that personal information is protected by strong privacy protocols.

“In addition, if anything in the survey causes concern or raises questions for students, we encourage them to make an appointment through the health or counselling services that are free to most students.

Take the survey and find more information here.

The survey closes Friday 10 November.
