How did you come to work at the University?


I was looking for an opportunity to work in Melbourne due to my partner's relocation for work
here. I've always been involved in academia and when this position was advertised, I saw it as
a fantastic opportunity to join a great university.

Describe your typical day

As most of the people involved in the research will tell you that there is no such thing as a
'typical day'. I mainly engage with researchers from different disciplines and offer my expertise
to help them with various issues of information and data management.

 

What is it about your job that holds your interest or is particularly satisfying?

It is very enjoyable helping researchers to overcome their research obstacles and always
satisfying to see great research projects begin to bear fruit as a result of that.

 

What is the best piece of advice you have received?

Do it to the best of your ability. Leave no regrets.


What is something about yourself that most of your colleagues wouldn't know?

I'm a diehard Manchester United supporter and regularly get up in the early weekday
mornings to watch the live football matches


Where do you buy your coffee on campus?

Romano's Coffee or Lot 6.


What do you like most about the University?

It's an awesome place to work, the campus is beautiful and people are very nice.
