The University also received 112 international media mentions across 11 countries, including 30 mentions in the UK, 30 in New Zealand and 23 in the US.
Of the traditional mentions, 99.2 per cent were positive.
The top three stories in April were Professor Tony Sagona’s work discovering new artefacts in Gallipoli (ARTS, 184 mentions), Dr Kirsten Larsen and Professor Chris Ryan’s research on Australia’s food future (ABP, 156) and Former Chancellor Alex Chernov’s swearing in as Governor of Victoria (156).
