Winter School a chance for VCE students to find inspiration in lead up to exams

July 17 / 195

If you know a VCE student who may need a little extra stimulation to keep motivated or lift their performance, there are still places available in the Faculty of Arts’ 2017 Winter School programs.

Program Co-ordinator Caterina Sciacca says there is also a program for Literature teachers, who might be looking for professional development opportunities, or even just some fresh ideas.

“This year the Winter School will be offering a series of inspiring lectures, seminars and tutorials in five VCE subjects,” she says, “The ever popular History: Revolutions, Australian History, and English Literature will be offered, with new additions of Italian and French.”

The program is developed in consultation with VCE experts and examiners, and taught by internationally acclaimed scholars.

Ms Sciacca says:  “This gives students special access to contemporary thinking in their study areas, a chance for their knowledge to be enhanced, and therefore help them excel in their exams.”

The Winter School runs next week. Click here for programs, times and costs.
