Dr John Morris is a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and a Clinical Teacher for the Medical School at the University. His teaching interests include Resuscitation and Advanced Airway Management and he is an examiner for the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. He is enrolled in the Centre for the Sctudy of Higher Education's  Graduate Certificate in University Teaching.

Dr Cordelia Fine is an academic psychologist, writer and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Melbourne.  Her first book, A Mind of Its Own: How your brain distorts and deceives, was one of twelve books long-listed for the UK Royal Society Science prize 2007. Her latest book, Delusions of Gender: How our minds, society, and neurosexism create difference was short-listed for the prestigious 2010 John Llewellyn Rhys Book Prize.

Associate Professor Jane Freemantle is an ARC Fellow in the Centre for Health and Society, the Melbourne School of Population Health.  She is a nationally and internationally recognised expert in Indigenous child health and the use of linked total population data bases to describe and monitor Indigenous child health outcomes.

Professor Mike Morgan has had a long career in dental education and research. He holds the Colgate Chair of Population Oral Health at the Melbourne Dental School at University, where he is Deputy Head of School. His teaching responsibilities cover aspects of Dental Public Health. His research interests include oral health informatics and clinical trials of dental caries preventive agents. He provides clinical services at a community health service in metropolitan Melbourne and is a member of the Dental Practice Board of Victoria, and is the Principal Oral Health Advisor to Dental Health Services Victoria. Mike is also a keen, if not particularly proficient, scuba diver.

Professor David Karoly is an ARC Federation Fellow in the School of Earth Sciences and leader of the Climate Change theme in the Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute.  He is an internationally recognised expert on climate variability and climate change, including greenhouse climate change and stratospheric ozone depletion.

Bala Starr is Senior Curator at the Ian Potter Museum of Art. Her latest exhibition, There’s no time: John Spiteri, Mira Gojak, Bradd Westmoreland, Karl Wiebke, opens on 17 November. The exhibition introduces the work of Sydney artist John Spiteri alongside three Melbourne artists of different generations.
